Privacy notice

Sharpest Pencil LLC is a pursuit and preconstruction advisory practice based in Denver, Colorado. Questions about this notice can be sent to pursuits@sharpestpencil.com.

Information you submit through the contact form: name, company, role, work email, telephone number, sector, delivery method, bid date, indicative contract value and the description of your pursuit.

Information you send us by email or file transfer in the course of an engagement, including solicitation packages, geotechnical reports, estimates and cost history.

Basic technical information generated when you visit the site, such as pages requested and approximate location derived from IP address.

To assess whether a pursuit fits our capacity and sector experience, to respond to your enquiry, to deliver an agreed engagement, and to maintain records required for professional and tax purposes.

We do not sell information, and we do not use enquiry information for advertising.

Pursuit documents, estimates and cost data are treated as confidential to the client. They are not used as case studies, benchmarks or marketing material without written consent.

We do not accept an engagement from a competing contractor on the same owner package while your engagement is live.

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are retained for a limited period and then deleted. Engagement records are retained for the period required by contract, professional obligation and applicable law.

You may ask us to correct or delete information we hold about you by writing to pursuits@sharpestpencil.com. Where a legal or contractual obligation requires us to retain a record, we will tell you.

The contact form is not a secure channel. Please do not submit confidential pricing or owner-restricted documents through it. During an engagement we agree a transfer method with you in advance.

This notice will be replaced with a counsel-reviewed version. When it changes we will update the revision date shown above.
